| Powerfab manufacture a range of earth-moving
machines which must be transported on trailers. A gap
in the market was identified for a new machine, which
may be towed by almost any vehicle and is therefore
particularly useful for DIY enthusiasts, builders, and
gardeners. GX reverse engineered a working prototype
and produced a number of sets of components which were
then tested on an initial working model. Following successful
trials the data was handed over for manufacture. |
| One the most innovative features
of the digger was the ability to rotate the wheel hubs
inboard of the chassis making it possible to wheel the
excavator through a standard doorway. This enables access
to the rear gardens of terraced houses. |
