| Post Office Counters Limited is the
largest retailer in Europe. They conduct business on
behalf of a wide variety of third parties, such as Government
departments and utilities. |
| The need was identified for a point
of sale terminal which is both flexible and compact,
unlike any other existing system. 20,000 units have
been made and installed. GX visited a number of post
offices to establish the needs of the operators. The
terminal has been designed to be friendly in appearance
and easy to operate. Replacement of the printer mechanism
can be undertaken in a number of seconds and without
having to take the terminal out of service. |
