| David Bibby, founder of CTS, had
the idea of creating a home shopping device which brings
the shop into the home. Aimed at busy or less mobile
people, this device allows 24 hour shopping. |
| He selected GX to create the product
for him as they have much experience with touch screen
technology and the software platforms and electronics
required. The main aim was simplicity of use, the primary
target was supermarkets. GX designed a terminal that
met all the clients requirements. A number of other
uses for the terminal are being investigated including
industrial servicing and maintainance. |
