To achieve maximum efficiency, a mail sorting framework was needed, which enabled optimum use of space whist meeting the ergonomic requirements of postal staff. GX were asked to develop a mail sorting system involving the design of a modular plastic shelving system, using low cost polypropylene in conjunction with gas assisted moulding techniques, producing high levels of strength and stiffness. The simple to assemble modular framework allows for a wide range of configurations, affording best use of available space. Custom designed tables and lighting solutions were also designed as part of the system.
