This is a fully automated machine where unsealed envelopes are fed through a moistening station and then sealed prior to franking. The unit is capable of sealing 60 letters per minute. GX designed this new product to work along side the rest of the system components and produced a number of working prototypes. One of the major challenges was to supply a consistent quantity of water to the moistening head, which was achieved using a specially designed low cost flow valve.
