| Aber Instruments have been designing
and manufacturing Biomass monitors primarily for the
brewing industry for a number of years. |
| The latest product, the 220 is a
significant technical progression keeping Aber Instruments
at the forefront of biotechnology. GX were asked to
design and prototype the enclosure for the monitor.
It was important that the appearance and materials used,
reflected the technical superiority and engineering
excellence of the new monitor. The front panel is made
from an aluminium casting with optional rack mounting
wings allowing desk top or rack use. |
| The precision sand casting approach
was used as this is a low volume / high value product.
The key switch panels and rotary knob also used a low
cost rapid tooling route. |
