Rhytec recently introduced the
Portrait Skin Regeneration system at the American
Academy of Dermatology in New Orleans early in 2005.
Portrait ‘R‘ Skin Regeneration
is the first and only clinically proven technology delivering
true skin regeneration, resulting in reduced wrinkles
and improved skin tone and texture with minimal downtime.
GX were completely responsible for
the industrial and mechanical design and also completed
some of the electronic engineering. FMEAs were conducted
throughout the project jointly with client engineers.
FEA analysis was used extensively to minimise weight
without compromising the mechanical integrity demanded
by the standards. GX produced a full size appearance
model and arranged the manufacture of a number of fully
functional prototypes. GX worked closely with toolmakers,
moulders, sheet metalworkers and suppliers in general
during the project. The documentation stage of the project
was a major part of the project which was completed
in its entirety in less than 12 months.
