| This portable laboratory provides extremely
accurate and effective on site analysis in a broad range of
industries including the water industry, environmental testing
and various manufacturing industries. |
| |
Using the titration principle, “Tiny
Lab” can also be used in domestic applications, testing
water quality in swimming pools and aquariums as well as an
education aid in schools and colleges. |
| |
|
| “Tiny Lab” won
the “Best Industrial Product” award at the recent
British Invention Show in London. |

| GX were responsible for the
industrial, mechanical and electronic design of “Tiny
Lab”. |

The specification of the plastics was a
major challenge, as “Tiny Lab” has to work with
the most aggressive acid and alkali solutions. The clear plastic
tank is ultra sonically welded together and has to remain
clear for analysis to take place. The central “handle”
is an extremely complex moulding. However, GX were able to
engineer the entire product to an extremely tight budget. |

GX worked closely with Dr Sohail Hajatdoost
of Riochem who originated the idea and wish him every success
with the product, which is creating significant interest in
both home and domestic markets. |
