| Phillips Group employs over 150 people
in the leisure and hospitality industries. Their directors
devised the concept of an electronic system for monitoring
the precise numbers of people who are in an entire building
at any moment in time. |
| A single design of moulding is used
for the charging, programming and display module. Different
windows are fitted where required to tailor the module.
The units may be also be wall mounted by fitting the
adjustable foot in a different orientation. |
| GX were briefed at the beginning
of August and four complete working systems were ready
for the Leisure Exhibition at the NEC 41 days later.
The new People Counter system is intended to ensure
that organisers of public events, proprietors of night
clubs and other organisations involved in the hospitality
& leisure industries are able to comply with modern
fire regulations. This may save the lives of customers
and fire brigade personnel alike. |
